InspiringCards (inspiringcards.com) is an AI-powered motivational greeting card creation service operated by So Design, Australia. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at hello@inspiringcards.com.

2. Information we collect

• Design inputs — the name, inspiration theme, visual style, and any free-text prompts you enter to generate your card.
• Account credentials — an email address and hashed password when you create an account at checkout.
• Payment information — card details are processed directly by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• Email address (optional) — if you choose to have your card emailed to someone, we collect the recipient email solely for that delivery.
• Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, request timestamps) for security and performance monitoring.

3. How we use your information

• To generate and display your personalised motivational card design.
• To process your payment via Stripe.
• To provide your one-time hi-res download and optional email delivery.
• To maintain the security and integrity of our service.
• To respond to support enquiries.

We do not use your data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or use it to train AI models.

4. Image retention

Generated card images are stored temporarily to enable your preview and one-time download. Images are automatically deleted at the end of the day on which they are created. We do not retain your artwork beyond that period.

5. Third-party services

• Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy)
• KIE.ai — AI image generation (your prompt is sent to KIE.ai to produce the artwork)
• Resend — transactional email delivery (resend.com/legal/privacy-policy)
• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and DDoS protection (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy)

6. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in during checkout. No advertising or tracking cookies are set.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@inspiringcards.com and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Data security

All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes and are never stored in plain text. Stripe handles all payment card data under PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance.

9. Children's privacy

InspiringCards is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of InspiringCards after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
